Prototype for smart cathodic protection: an open case with copper plates and electronics

Steel in water can be protected by a coating, but also by putting a voltage on the steel.

We are working on a system in which the object generates its own voltage. After a smart calculation, that voltage is used to put the right voltage on the steel, so that it is protected against corrosion in a sustainable way.
